Has anyone tried to successfully flash the computer on a 2005 Nissan pathfinder.I'm having the check engine light come on because of a bad catalytic converter, and therefore I am unable to pass my State's inspection. Replacing the converter is going to cost something like $1000.
I know someone that has a volkswagen and they had a similar issue, but they were able to flash the computer on their car and only bypass the checks for the catalytic converter.
I'm wondering if anyone else has been able to do the same thing on a Nissan Pathfinder?

I am having that problem now. If your path has under 80,000 miles on it they have to fix your cats under warranty, federal law.

YES YOU MUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS or they cant do anything
