I have a 98 kia sportage. It has became hard to start and sometimes when it does you can put the pedle down and its like you arent. Once you get up a few r.p.m. its ok until you stop again. I have changed cam sensor, fuel injectors, fuel pump, cat converters, mass air control, throttle positioning sensor. Whats wrong? is it the crank sensor? Where is that?

Had similar problem - check the connector on the Mass Air Sensor. Also, remove the Throttle-Body and spray cleaner in the throat of the intake where the Throttle-Body was bolted to. It seemed to solve my problem. I still clean the throat about every 10 to 15 thousand miles.
