#1 of 2 Securing cargo by trsv48

I recently purchased a '00 Sienna. I will be carrying a lot of boxes double and triple stacked in the back. The third row of seats has been removed. I want to make sure that nothing will come flying forward in case of a sudden stop or some rambunctious cornering.

What suggestions do you have for securing cargo?

I have poking around the web and have not found a great solution. At the moment I am leaning towards a pet barrier.

As a suggestion, visit a few welding / steel fabrication shops in your area. I'm sure a few could be found doing an internet search or phone directory search. Ask them if a steel mesh could be installed at the back of 2nd row of seats. Same "steel wire mesh" design that is often used when transporting dogs - in the rear cargo area. Also, ask them to make this mesh easily removable. re: Steel fasteners / clips that can easily be undone - if you want to remove this mesh a few times a year.

Hope this helps...
