The radio in my 95 Town car will not shut off. I push on the control button but it wioll not shut off. I have to turn the vol knob all the way to the left to shut the radio down! Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem which I thought was a problem, but all you do is press the knob in ALL the way and it is off...simple as that, the light on the channel its on stills lights up but the radio is off...push in the knob until it catches...I messed with mind for weeks before I figured it out....
