I am having a promblem with my power steering is makeing a loud noise when I turn the wheel checked fluid it is ok. I have 2005 Freestyle

probably means the power steering pump is going bad. If it's worse in hot weather that's a sure sign. It's a few hundred to get it fixed. I had mine fixed under the extended warranty last summer at about 73,000 miles.
