Is this Garmin GPS installed in the Van or just hooke on the windsheild?I have 04 Sienna XLE with JBL system, how can I add non OEM GPS,

I bought a vent mount from MountGuys.com. It positions the GPS closer to you, to make it easier to reach the touch screen.
The windshield is way too far IMHO.
