So we own a 2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500 with the 3.0L Mercedes diesel engine. Has the remote oil filter canister with removable 84mm cap. I bought the proper socket/wrench for the cap, just need to be sure which way to loosen the cap. Is it standard threads, as in counter-clockwise to loosen? Anybody have any idea exactly how much oil this engine holds safely? Thanks in advance.....
