I thought I had dropped my ring into the change holder near the adaptor outlet when I realized that the dish was pushed forward exposing a small space where an important diamond ring fell through. I tried to get at it and broke part of it. Any ideas how to get in there and retrieve my ring????? HELP!!!

I had a 2002 Legacy and you started at the arm rest and worked your way forward to remove the center console.
 
Hopefully someone who has a 2005-2010 model has done the same and can help you out.
