I purchased my 06 Envoy XL Denali new 12/20/05. As of today, 11/12/11, I have 54,945 original miles on the truck. However, I have and in some case still have the following issues:
1) Stabilitrack issue 2) Fuel gauge 3) Rear Suspension (both shock absorbers) 4) Radio fades in and out, the finish has peeled of the control buttons 5) Shift cable broke(on a road trip) 6) Water pump leakage 7) Left front window regulator (replaced twice) 8) The steering wheel chrome finish peeling. Please understand, I take good care of the truck with scheduled service maintenances at a local dealership that has really worked with me. So, I have no arguments with them at all. Just got some of the stated work done on 11/11/11 which caused me with some discounts $1,126.13. I am a previous owner of a BMW and after this GMC experience, I'm strongly considering returning. This is crazy. Again, please note I only have 54,945 miles on the vehicle. WOW, I keep asking myself what's next. I agree, GM knew there were issues with this model, but they proceeded to ignore them. Side note, I encouraged a cousin to buy the same model as mine (she bought new), and we both have the same issues almost around the same time.. It's unbelievably.. GM, loyalty and good products go hand in hand.. You missed it with this product.

Tdoug38,

Thank you for posting, and I'm sorry that you've encountered so many issues with your Envoy to date. Which concerns are still unresolved at this time? Have you already worked with Customer Assistance?

Hi Sarah,

I had my truck fixed in July, I recieved a letter from GM in Oct. that they would refund me half of the sending unit.. i had my neighbor replace the whole fuel pump in JULY I sent in for reinbustment just for the sending unit and they REFUSED to give me credit because i didn't use a licensed mechanic! I had took the car to a licensed mechanic in July and they wanted over $900.00 to replace it! I paid $596.15 There was no way of me knowing that there was going to be a Reimburstment. Also, In the Requst form there in no NOTATION that you had to use a licensed mechanic.. I am going to Civil Court with this matter!

I had to pay $243.49 for the installation of the two rear air shocks and the sensors. Paid $245.00 labor to have the waterpump replaced, Paid $170.00 for the labor the fuel sensor replacement. Paid $207 for mu=iscellaneous charges in addition to non warranty work. As of now, my radio issue has yet to be resolved because at the time the above work was being done, it was functioning properly. Please understand Vera GMC has worked with me as much as possible. So, I have nothing but praise for the service manager Mr. Daryl Friedman. However, I do still have unresolved issues with my truck.
