I am considering purchasing an '06 LS.
I drive 35-40 miles to work every day, sometimes more if i need to road trip.
What kind of actaul hwy mileage can I expect?
(I know driving habits can cause this to vary)
Thanks in advance!!!!

I was gonna ask V6 or V8 but then I remembered all '06's are V8's. My V6 gets mid 20's easy but I'm not sure on the V8's.

Depending on ethanol content of the gasoline, terrain and speed you should expect 25-28 or thereabouts.

I can only tell you what I get with my '01V8 with 137k on it. I have a heavy foot and I get about 24+ MPG on the highway. I'm sure that the mileage is a little better on the newer models.

I have a V8 '01, and get 25-26 easy on the highway, and I'm usually running full-boogie...
