2004 GTP power steering only works on right turns

I started my car this morning and turned hard right to pull away from the curb as I do every morning. During the turn a heard a sort of clunk and then I no longer had power steering for left turns. I can turn right just fine.What could possibly cause this type of problem?

I have a 2005 GTP and am having the same problem right now. No power to the left... Mine wasn't all of the sudden though. It has progressively been getting worse. It started out just hard to turn left with a hissing or gushing air noise under the hood when I would turn left. Suddenly today all power is gone. I hope someone knows what's up...
