Are there any AWD SRT8's out there?I'm looking at 2006-2007 models Can U build one? Will the 5.7 hemi /transfer case bolt up to the 6.1 Hemi block/tranny/mounts etc? I really want an AWD but I'd like the SRT8 as well Thoughts Thx

Sorry to tell you, but you have to make a choice. The tire melting 425 HP 6.1 HEMI would shred an AWD drive train in a matter of seconds. It is strictly a RWD monster. However, the 5.7 HEMI is more than anyone would possibly need in a four door sedan, and it mates very well with the AWD package offered. However, if you want one, you had better start shopping now. Rumors are that FIAT (the new owner of Chrysler) wants to kill off anything with more than 6 cylinders! Pray it ain't so!! The world is already infested with these econobox "euro" cars that ride like a shopping cart. The AWD option adds about two grand to the sticker, but it is well worth it if you live where it snows. Here's an idea: Buy the SRT for your summer car, and save the AWD for your winter car.
