Ok, my 05 Sunfire (With about 58k miles) has been acting weird for about a week now. I noticed it when I was sitting in a parking lot idling and listening to the radio while waiting for my girlfriend at the mall. I happened to look down and see the temp gauge was about 1/2 way between then 195 point and the red zone. I shut the car down, and it returned to normal within a few minutes. The fan never came on, though. It seems to be running a little bit hotter than it used to most of the time now. Not terribly hot, but higher than usual and the radiator fan doesn't seem to be coming on. Around the same time I noticed that the a/c compressor seems to kick on and off when idling. It works fine while I'm driving, but if I'm just sitting there it kicks on and off after a few minutes and the rpms go up and down. (And in this weather, when the a/c goes off, the defog quits working and windows fog up!) Looking for any suggestions you guys might have!
