My sister in law has this 1999 GMC Safari Van with the 4.3L V6... She complains it runs very rough when cold but runs better when warm.. Engine light comes on every few weeks with Code P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak) I did a long overdue tuneup with plugs/wires/disty cap/rotor/fuel filter/PVC/Gas cap etc. I also found a broken vac line to the lower connection to the PVC valve and replaced the vac line.. The van idles ok but still runs rough when accelerating (but passable) I heard of fuel injector issues with the GMC Safari.. Any ideas? Vac leak?
