I took my car to a repair shop, they said the code was "engine misfire", but he said, it looks like that code was reset, he said I wouldn't worry about that, but he said another code is "engine burning too rich" and "EVAP leak". They ran a "smoke test" and they didn't find any EVAP leak. What's the deal??

Additional Details
I replaced the gas cap. I set my trip meter. I'm going on 130 miles, and the light is still on.

And addition to the engine burning too rich. He recommended I use this highly expensive carb and fuel cleaner. I dumped that in my gas tank. Still no results.
