1995 Ford Explorer 4.0 L message center location

I must be dumber than a stump, but I can not locate the message center in order to reset the change oil indicator on a 1995 4.0 L Explorer. The manual says that it is located on the center floor console, the only thing I can find there are cup holders and such. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thank you
