I am notorious for locking my keys in the car. I have gotten in the habit of having a valet key in my pocket at all times, in case I do. You really can't comfortably do this, with the Sienna's keys, with their "fobs" (whatever they're officially called) on them.

I want a key that's just a key, that does nothing but open the door. Will a locksmith do this for me? Has anyone done it?

Yes, in fact I have a plastic key in my wallet, like a credit card, that is designed to open the driver's door lock only.

My dealer provided that to me for free, in fact. I'd ask your dealer for the same thing.

Edit: just took a look at it. It's a white card, one side says "Member" and has a Toyota logo, the other side is blank (white). I have tested it before and it worked.
