I had a reman engine put in my 99 Concorde, I thought b/c if a bad engine. Well before i took the car in I new I had a small rear main seal leak..nothing major just a small one. well a bit after i got the car back I noticed that I may have a another rear main seal leak. well..i no its possible, but i find it a very small chance that after a year with a new manufactured engine has the same seal leak that my old engine had. The engine is still warranted but, before I go in I want to compare engines codes to make sure they just didn't fix a minor issue and charged me for a new engine. Does anyone know where I can find the engine stamp...and can i found out if its the original engine for the car. Thanks for any help.
