I have a 99 Grand AM GT that I purchased from someone that fixed it up after it was in an accident. The left side of the car has the original housing unit for the rear lights, but the right side has a housing unit from an SE... My question is this: Inside the trunk is welded closed, so I can't get to the lights... (my moms car you have to pull the whole housing system out to change the lights) Do you have to pull the whole housing system out, or did the person that I bought it from mess it up?? I don't have an owners manual for it, which is why I am asking... and I don't even know what year the right side (SE light) is from. My car was kinda pieced together, and the front bumper, rear bumper, trunk lid, and right side rear lights are all from an SE. I have NO reverse lights at this time!!! My license plates lights were removed, and in their place, was installed ONE LARGE light, and the person that had it before my pryed the air bag up as well... Anyway, enough complaining about my car... is there any way to change the lights since the part of the trunk directly behind the lights is welded closed??? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you in advance!! Erica |
