My engine light came on. I had codes read. PO304 is the code. Mechanic said that the "Valve Guide Seals are Leaking" and there is oil on the pistons. He isn't sure if he needs to remove the heads to repair this. Estimate is $1200.00. I need some help from someone! Replying to: iampattic (Sep 23, 2009 7:33 am) I have same problem last week, the oil start leaking on the manifold and causing smoke, and the dealer give same answer, and also same price $1200 apparently is a big job, good luck.

Replying to: iampattic (Sep 23, 2009 7:33 am) It's the valve cover gaskets, not guide seals. Just remove the valve covers, replace the gasket and clean out the oil. You may need to replace spark plugs and/or COPs.
