I just purchased a 2000 740il I got a navigation CD from a dealer for free for my area. When I put it in I always get the error " the vehicle position is outside the map limits" I know I have the right CD for the Midwest (I am in Crete, IL). I think the Navigation sytem needs to be reset but I don't know how to do it. I don't have any codes for the vehicles. Can anyone help? Thank uou,
