21.1 gallon fuel tank???

i bought a 2009 entourage about 3 weeks ago w/ 150 miles, i let the fuel light come on before i filled the gas tank again. I put gas and filled out the tank w/ 16.3 gallons of gas, it shows that it's a 21.1 gallon tank. do i still have 5 gallons of gas after the fuel light comes on? and the fuel gauge almost passes the empty line? did anybody else had this question????

I've had my Entourage about 3.5 months and never put more than about 19.2 gallons in the tank. Tried to calculate from the trip computer when I would have about 1 gallon left before fillup and still put just over 19 gallons. Generally when the gage is below E and the low fule light is on I put about 17.5-18 gallons in. P.S. preview of this post ">shows a car photo with this post. I have no idea where that came from.
