We just bought on 09 highlander limited w/o nav and I am struggling to understand how to turn the radio on without having to start the car. Is this possible?

With your foot off the brake, just push the start button twice. This puts it in the accessory mode. Have fun.

Or, just push the start button once, and all you'll run is the radio and not all of the other electronics....saving some battery juice.
