Which Vehicles Have Three Latch Seats Across? by KarenS HOST

Parents want to know which vehicles can hold three car seats straight across. The Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Malibu have three LATCH connectors, but can you get three car seats in there? Which other vehicles work for parents with young children or carpool duty?

Talk about your experience fitting car seats in your vehicle.

Not sure about the back seats of either of those cars but car seats are pretty big these days. I think you would be hard pressed to fit 3 car seats in the back seat of any car. This is why minivans and the bigger SUVs are so appealing. You also have to consider rear facing car seats take up lots of room. If either the driver or passenger is tall (6'4" tall here), can't put a rear facing car seat behind them in a car.

My in-laws have 3 children who were all in car seats but they have a Tahoe and one of the seats was a booster seat. they barely fit in the second row (does not have third row option).
