I recently purchased a 2009 G37x sedan, it now has about 1400 miles. I have been thinking about taking my car in for service but i don't know if i am being paranoid or if there is really an issue with my car. Here is the problem, The engine is loud (I think a little to loud for a new car). At times the car at idle is at over 1500 rpm and it seems to shake a little. I also think that the acceleration is slow. Has anyone else experienced this if so what did you do? Replies to this message: snagiel (Aug 31, 2009 9:03 am)

Replying to: mena1583 (Aug 31, 2009 7:42 am) Something does not sound right. The engine may rev slightly higher at idle at extremely cold temperatures, but 1500 rpm is way too high. And I don't know what you mean by "shake"; if you're accustomed to a smooth-as-butter Lexus V8, then, yes, the G37 does vibrate more, but it shouldn't feel like sitting atop a washing machine. And, likewise, unless you're accustomed to driving Ferrari's on a regular basis, the acceleration should not feel anywhere close to "slow". I would definitely bring it in to be inspected.
