Engine / acceleration by mena1583

I recently purchased a 2009 G37x sedan, it now has about 1400 miles. I have been thinking about taking my car in for service but i don't know if i am being paranoid or if there is really an issue with my car.
Here is the problem, The engine is loud (I think a little to loud for a new car). At times the car at idle is at over 1500 rpm and it seems to shake a little. I also think that the acceleration is slow.
Has anyone else experienced this if so what did you do?

Something does not sound right. The engine may rev slightly higher at idle at extremely cold temperatures, but 1500 rpm is way too high. And I don't know what you mean by "shake"; if you're accustomed to a smooth-as-butter Lexus V8, then, yes, the G37 does vibrate more, but it shouldn't feel like sitting atop a washing machine. And, likewise, unless you're accustomed to driving Ferrari's on a regular basis, the acceleration should not feel anywhere close to "slow". I would definitely bring it in to be inspected.
