Although the paint seems really thin and there is an incredibly annoying rattle coming from the stereo. If they put the GLI suspension in the GTI it would be awesome. Also can VW offer some more colors for that car? Everything is shades of gray, and I'd like the option of cloth seats as well.

Replying to: carbuy2 (Sep 02, 2009 5:57 pm) one of the reasons i abstained from buying an 09 regular 3 was because the interior quality was only like a half step up from my fit. (which is nice for the price but still a subcompact.) the jettas interior, especially in 2010 is the best in class. and its well documented as such. if you cant tell (or wont tell the difference) than maybe the appeal to a modern vw makes it simply not the car for you. i'm not saying the mazda is not nice, but its simply not as nice as the jetta, especially on higher end models. granted i dont expect it to be either, given the fact that the VW in general is a sort of near premium brand. |

Replying to: carguy622 (Sep 21, 2009 3:50 pm) i took my wifes beetle for routine maintenance the other day and the '10's are out, and their interior now looks very reminiscent of the new golf that has yet to come out. (sportwagens now have the new golf front end as well. it looks great.) there should be plenty of quality aftermarket pieces for the tdi wagon that you could get, and i'm pretty sure that VW offers at least some lowering springs. the gti's suspension is pretty nice though, and it would be nice to have it. interestingly enough, according to vw's press materials, the GOLF tdi will be available with optional sport seats and sport suspension in both 2 and 4 door guise. i know it does not have as much space...but maybe its worthy of your consideration?
