i have to install an after market DRL module .ford says to install it at the headlite module.Where is this located.......under the hood or under the dash???

I also am attempting to install DRL on my 2002 LTC but I have been told that to do do so I have to take it in to a dealership. How does yours work? With the existing headlights?

www.helminc.com has the official manuals for ford/lincoln. I have owned them in the past and they are very reliable. Although they are not cheap
