#1 of 2 Max. Tire Size for 1987 Land Cruiser by bethopea

Currently have:

15" R
31X10.5 LT

4 WHL Drive

I need better tires for off-road, they need to be more groovy (man)

Can I go any higher than 31 with out having to raise the suspension? Or how about any thicker?

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can go up to 33" without issues. For comparisons, you can mount 285/75/R16s on an 80 (or 100 series) that comes with 275/70/R16s as standard.

Though I have a lift on mine, I've run the larger sizes without a lift and not had any rubbing problems with them.
