Many people do not see any value for luxury dealer experience which costs money. There is no free lunch - you pay for this niceties one way or another, or dealers would be bankrupt. IMO LaCross is better than ES because it is not based on cheap Japanese mass-production car but on sturdy award winning German platform. |

The design is magnificent. I like the idea. I really liked the test drive we took. The handling on turns really impressed me. But I''m really saddened by the fuel mileage. We have a 2003 Buick Century, (the LaCrosse took over) It gets the same mpg as a 2010 LaCrosse. In 8 years they haven't done a thing to the engine. (As far as I can see...it should be doubled what it was in 2003)

With that logic going it would be better just to go buy a Prius and sit smugly and think about fuel mileage (ignoring the environmental damage due to the battery chemicals and the motor construction compared to a safer 4-cyl Corolla or Civic or Focus or Cobalt.) |

The 3 liter also has 55 more hp, and the 3.6 liter has 85 more hp. Now, I've been driving the CXS for 2 months now, and notice the same if not slightly better fuel economy than I got in my Park Ave, w/ far more equiptment and hp. I'm averaging about 23 mpg in mixed driving back and forth to work. Name me one car that has DOUBLED it's fuel economy in the last 8 years??? Hint: THERE ARE NONE!!!!
