I have a factory alarm and also a retail remote start on my 2000 Plymouth Neon. I have had the remote start on there a good four or more years. There has been no problem with that, but i do have a different remote on my keys than the original. (I add this incase it is relevant to my issue). Lately - as of the past maybe 3 weeks or so, my alarm sounds seemingly randomly - and in the past few days, much more frequently. Yesterday it went off 5 times. I am at the point now where i can't lock my door for fear of the alarm going off and maybe killing my battery. Is there a way to disable the factory alarm? Thank you!
