Has anyone had the ac compressor pulley fall off...We took the 2006 Hyundai Tucson to the dealer because of a squeaking noise in the engine..they told us to go to a car wash and spray the sepertine belt as it had dust that was causing the noise...That was three weeks ago. Today while driving..the power steering went out and we noticed a burning smell...the belt looked like it was burning... Let the car cool down and started it again and then a noise and we found a piece of the car fell off...all the lights turned on....We waited a little while and then it seemed fine. Called the car dealer and he said that it was the ac compressor pulley that fell off and this has happened before...had to have the car towed to the dealership....Has anyone had this happen and do you trust the car...or are you looking for a new car...this is the fourth time the car has been towed to the dealership....We have 48,000 miles....Anyone else had this happen?
