Does anyone have an attorney to help work with Cadillac. I brought the 04 SRX brand new and have had nothing but problems. Now that the warranty is over they won't even help, even though the problems started early on.   1-Catalyc converters replaced 3 times 2-transmission rebuilt 3-replace engine brackets 4-replace engine flexor plates 5-replaced water pump 2 times 6-loud vibrations- told to replace tire- that didn't work 7-whinning noise- told belts may need to be replaced 8-loud cracking noise from sunroof- told normal because of size 9-NOW- being told need new throttle system!   Each one of these repairs if in excess of $1000! I so understand your situation, and am in it again as I type- the car broke down again on me this very morning, after having had a new throttle switch go out last month.. I have had many of the same problems with my 2004 SRX, as well as some not on your list. If misery does indeed love company, know you have it from me!

Replying to: rrho (Jul 13, 2009 12:20 pm) Wait. You said you bought the car "brand new", which means it would have had a four year, 50K warranty. Since it is an 04 model, then it should be no more than two years out of warranty. You have had all these problems since the warranty expired? Or did you have some/most of them before it expired? In any event, it seems very strange that you are only now asking about hiring an attorney. Something doesn't add up here.
