I see no thread for the new facelifted 2010 Santa Fe. IDK why, so I thought I'd start one.
 
Is there really anyone here who likes this? I think it's horrifying. Plus, the 'chrome' rim? I just don't even have words.... I just look at it and shake my head in disbelief.

Horrific? It often hard to really tell from the photos, but it looks fine to me. It's not like it's a radical departure either - just look at the new BMW X1:

Look at the Santy grill again. It's white, sunk in, has a fake chrome rim around it. How is that not a departure from the old one? I mean, it's a body color grill?
What if that BMW grill was recessed white louvers? Bad bad bad.

It may be a departure from the old one and I don't particularly care for it but I wouldn't characterize it as "horrifying" by any means. But then there is no accounting for taste.

Just wait, someone is going to pop those grills out and spray paint them with some paint to match spray paint.

Inside Line says: Changes to the Santa Fe for 2010 are relatively minor. I guess if I was in the market, it wouldn't be a deal killer.

I absolutely hate those body colored grills. The 08 Azera was the same way which is why I waited till 09 to buy one. My 07 Santa Fe thanksfully does not have this. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a Santa Fe.

I agree. Black out the grill. A can of Semi-gloss black will fix it!!
They need to come out with a V8 version, lowered with 20's! 400 horses should do it.....a new ECM chip, set of stainless tubes, Flowmasters.....but I digress....
