| I have a steady leak comming from my transaxel on the front left right where it joins into the tranny, I am suposed to be leaving on a 2500 kilomiter round trip in one day, can I take a chance and go just making sure the trans fluid is full all the time, or is this something that should be fixed, and if so is it really hard to do or can a driveway mech. like myself fix it without the need of speacial tools | |

The front left transaxel is leaking with a steady drip when the car is running, I have been told that the bearing is what caused the seal to leak, is this a job that i can do in my garage or will the motor have to be lowered, I can grab the trans axel and wiggle it a little bit. How do i go about doing it, I am pretty handy and not afraid to do jobs like this but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it. Thank you to all who can help me out with this job. |
