I have a 24' Travel Trailer 4176 dry weight. I have been pulling it with a 04 Trailblazer I6 4x4 and had a bad experience trying to make it up hill. The TB is rated to pull 5300lbs. I have been looking for used silverados and just can't afford the 2500. I have been seeing some 2004-2005 1500's some with crew cab some extended cab. All with the 5.3L. If it says it has a towing package what is included and how much will it tow? I need 4x4 and either extended or crew cab. How can I tell if they have the tow package? It has been really hard to find how much a 1500 will tow in each of the different 1500 models. I have two small children and a wife and want them all to be safe. Thanks
