Hi, people, I am totally new to this. I don't know much about cars. I have been told Honda is the best machine, so I looked and found a 1998 Odyssey. The owner says "It drives as is, very smooth at freeway speeds, but should have the transmission replaced soon because of low speed rough shifting when cold." I found this forum while looking for a transmission, you all seem to know so much about Odyssey! Please tell me what you think about this 1998 one if anything comes to mind for you. What else could be wrong with it at year? I couldn't believe there are so many problems that were discussed on Odyssey here. I am totally confused, everyone told me Honda is good up to now. I have never had one before. Any advice on changing the transmission and what it should cost are welcome, too. Thank you very much for any advice on this 1998 Odyssey.
