Yesterday I noticed at highway speed what sounds like a deep hum coming out of the front end. It sounds like this is coming from one of the wheels. Suspecting a wheel bearing i took it to the mechanic today who indicates that they believe it's connected to the timing chain/tensioner, etc, but they can't be sure without pulling the engine... a 15 hour job. I told them to forget it and am going to get another opinion. Listening to the engine in the driveway with the hood popped, it is possible some additional noise/vibration exists, but I'm not sure. Does any of this make any sense? I still suspect wheel bearing....
