with 38k miles on my cobalt and regular maintenance I know there shouldnt be a single leak. I noticed a leak for a few thousand miles, small but it was still leaking. One day I go get oil change and I ask mechanic to check it out. He showed me the 'ring' on the oil filter cartridge that hadnt been changed since I bought the car. make sure when you get oil changed they replace the ring on the oil filter cartridge!!
