Leather seat upholstery repair by in2explore

I have a 1998 Town & Country Lxi with cream leather seats. The drivers’ leather on the seat has become worn and is torn in four places.

Has anyone had any good experiences with seat covers? My experience with them is not good. Another alternative is remove the leather seat and sew dyed leather into the seat. Also saw a patch kit at http://www.leatherworldtech.com wonder if anyone had experience with them?

I’m looking for a solution that is comfortable and <$100. I loaded a picture at: http://tinyurl.com/ld24sm how would you repair that if you were me?

Also the seat warmer stopped working on that seat as well... anyone have a possible solution for that while I'm fixing the seat anyway?
