I have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo 2WD, 5 speed manual transmission, with a L4 2.2 FI gas engine.The ID Plate on the firewall has (Engine RJL)My question is this an interference engine or not?

I believe that the last interference engine in the Rodeo was in the '96 model year. Can anyone verify that? Thanks!
