Did Infiniti increase the rear seat legroom space in the 09 EX-35 compared to the 08 EX-35?

You will have to hold out for the 2010, according to an article in Automotive News. The story said that Infiniti was losing sales to families. The original demographics for the EX was couples without children (or with small ones) and empty nesters like me. Yes, the EX will not get an increase in both rear legroom and cargo room until the 2010 model year. I don't know how they are going to do it without making the EX longer than what it is, but both these items are badly needed!!!

Replying to: intruder1 (Oct 13, 2009 11:56 am) I don't know what Infiniti is thinking but they better get their act together; when I had my 2005 FX lease I sent them a letter and spoke to someone about putting a power rear liftgate on the FX when it was redone for 2009; now this was back in the beginning of 2006 and almost 4 years later they still have done nothing and they did the same thing when the EX came out; I mean for God sake the Murano has it and that is a Nissan; Lexus has them, Acura finally has them on their SUVs and even GM started putting them on their SUVs; if all these can do it there is no reason why Infiniti can't do it; what really is mind boggling is why they designed the EX35 to have virtually no rear legroom or cargo room; those are two big reasons why you get a crossover SUV rather than a sedan;   what really looked pathetic was right before I got rid of my FX35 this year, I was parked at the grocery store next to a Chevy Traverse or Equinox, I can't remember which one, and I watched as this women hit a button on her key fob and the back trunk door rose up by itself so that by the time she got to the vehicle it was all the way up and she just started putting grocery bags in; when she was done, she hit the button again and the trunk door when down by itself; then she watched as I struggled to pull and push up the big heavy door on my FX35 manually so that I could put the grocery bags in the back; suffice it to say I felt ridiculous and embarrassed that my luxury SUV didn't have that feature when her piece of shit Chevy did; I vowed after that to never get a SUV without a power rear liftgate!! so that knocked out getting a 2009 FX or 2009 EX since they still don't have it
