I have a 2002 Corolla with about 280,000 km on it. I use synthetic oil. Commute to work by car and have done some long highway trips (3,000km to 6,000km) during summer months. Now that my Corolla is getting up there, I'm wondering what is the average lifespan of a Corolla. I'm sure there are exceptional cars that last much longer but what is the average? Brake clicking noise. I usually drive with the windows up so don't hear car exterior noise much. Happen to have the windows rolled down going thru a Tim Hortons (big coffee business here). I hear a loud clicking noise coming from the rear...sounded like from the wheel area. Doesn't make noise while in reverse, only when going forward. Does it sound like rust falling off and hitting the rotors or do the calipers need greasing. Yes, I will bring it in to get checked but wondering if anyone has an opinion. |
