I have recently purchased a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country. Great vehicle. The only issue...when we open the driver's side window an overpowering moldy/musty smell originates from the window well. We have tried leaving the window open, etc. I would rather not pay a dealer to fix this this. Any thoughts.

Thanks

Sounds like the vent holes for drainage inside the door are plugged solid. You should remove the panel and plastic from the inside of the door, unplug the drain holes, if they are not there, drill several in the bottom edge of the door(after drilling the holes and drying the metal, be sure to spray the drilled edges of the metal with a rust proof paint. Then flush the door out by running a mixture of bleach and water through the inside of the door several times.
