I have a '96 Jimmy 4x4 with an automatic transmission, and the gear shift is on the column. I want to convert it to have a floor shifter instead. My plan is to use a floor shift out of the same year Sonoma, but i wanted to see if anyone had done it before or if there were any major issues that i was gonna run into. My thinking is that since their practically the same vehicle, everything should just bolt up and convert right over, but whenever something seems that simple, it almost never is. lol!
