Stupidly, the EX Leather Package, including heated leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, metal-finish trim, and a windscreen de-icer, for $1,000, is unavailable with either the 5-speed manual or the 5-speed automatic. It seems to be a terrific car, but until they adjust the packages offered, I'll be looking elsewhere.

I am getting an OTD quote of $17,736.83 from on a Kia Forte 2010 EX automatic from a dealer in houston.I believe it is on the higher side.What do the other people on the forum , users or otherwise feel about the price and for what price should I be getting a EX with the $600 fuel economy package ? Replying to: uhhuduga (Nov 03, 2009 7:38 pm) purchased my EX kia forte in august for $16,000.00 plus TTT.this is without the fuel economy package.just took this car on a 2000 mile road trip and it performed flawlesly.iam so impressed with it that i am seriously considering upgradeing to the forte coupe sx with sunroof and the corsa blue color if i can get a good deal.

Replying to: conwelpic (Nov 17, 2009 8:57 am) the kia forte sx winning out over the mazda 3 is no real suprise to me.i purchased a forte EX in august and test drove a mazda 3 i touring before deciding on the forte. the forte even with the standard 156 hp won out over the 148 hp mazda3 that i test drove.the forte was also much quieter on the road than the mazda 3 and had a much better ride with just as good handling.so all in all the forte is really liveing up to kia's slogan of "the power to suprise"...

Hey All .. it seems that kia forte pkgs in the middle east is a little bit defferent at your end, i have just bought my Kia forte (cerato at my end ) from Kia Egypt - SX model now i drove it for 4k KM and im realy happy with it, i have bought Lancer 2009 few months ago and left it to my sister as i loved the Kia more, My SX coms with 17'' alloy rims and rear parking sensors and leather rapped wheel and stickshift but without sunroof along with AT transmission and climate air conditions, heated mirrors but no leather seats - however i think its a diffrent pkg than your USA specs. but im realy happy with this car , maybe i can feel that lancer is better quiality but kia is more stronger. so please advise shall i get my lancer back or keep the kia ( i dont know if anyone drove it more than 4k KM to advise me if its still in a good shape
