I just purchased a 1999 Lexus RX300 with 103,000 miles. I'm new to this car, and am still learning about cars. So I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on things to look for or pay attention to matinence wise? Thank you in advance. Anything is helpful to me! Yeah, look through to postings on the RX300 forum http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ee95139. There's lots of information posted. Make sure to change the transmission fluid and filter often. Don't rely on the dealer to let you know what you want serviced (mileage-based packages are a rip-off and don't address your specific needs, especially transmission service). And post any questions or comments about what you find.
