If you aren't in a hurry wait for the 2010 models.   LX and EX trims go first. Certain colors like Ocean Mist they didn't produce much of. I know there are dealer transfers and trades. Would it be better to have my dealer go get it? Or for me go where it's at?   Meaning, 150miles is "not far" and they may just drive it over, correct? Or do they truck it?   Since they are trading, I'm less likely to be able to play hard ball and get the best price? I can't have them go through all that trouble and not buy it, right?   What do you think? Apparently not a popular color.   If you want Ocean Mist in EX or LX only, your chances are slim.   If you want EXL RES/NAV slightly better.   They will usually drive it over, they won't waste money on trucking it. Watch out for bait and switch prices too. Make sure you get the email printed quote before you go.

IF they decide to do a trade, they will sell it at your decided price.   Get a printed out email quote first before dealing. No matter which brand you shop, that's about the price for that level of options.   So my question is, let's say the 2010 arrives next month. It's still July. And there are no 2009s left. Dealers ONLY got 2010 to sell. Will they ask for full MSRP for the 2010 model?   Dealers can, but that would make Honda at a disadvantage in the marketplace.   I know I'll pay "more" for a 2010. But in your opinion, and experience, will I still get a competitive price if I wait for 2010?????   No one can be sure, but tell me what you think? Replying to: yipman_style (Jun 11, 2009 7:53 am) IMHO prices will start out "high" for the "must have it now because it's new" and then work down. I would expect downward pressure when the 2010 Sienna hits the market.   Supply and demand, supply and demand, when they are out of whack then prices react.
