I purchased a '93 new. Loved it until it caught fire after 16 years. I'm trying to find a replacement between '93-'98. I found one with everything I want. Can anyone decipher this owner's description of a sensor problem? Does this sound right? Could it be major? Thanks! "The sensor on the 4x4 system sometimes trips if I go over a bump (all it says is that is needs service then goes away). I took it into the Jeep dealership and spoke with Mike whom I've worked with before. He took a look and told me this happens. He said I could replace the sensor but it's not really worth it since there is nothing wrong with the system itself. "
