Strange sound in left rear suspension or axle? by xsanguinator

I wake up in the morning and drive the LC and there is a strange sound coming from the left rear suspension , differential, axle (not sure) when I brake or make a turn. The sound is similar to a loose u-joint but there is nothing I can see that is loose. What is strange is that it disappears after about 10 seconds and then reappears the next morning..Help! Thank you!

Year/model/mileage? With the limited info you've posted, it's hard to do much more than guess at what might be the cause. But, what you're describing sounds like it could possibly be the axle/differential yokes need to be lubed. You've got 4 lube points--one at each axle and one at the end of each drive shaft that goes to the Transfer Case. It wouldn't hurt to check the torque on each of the yokes while you're under there.
