Replying to: johnc99 (May 28, 2009 5:47 pm) There is a replacement available although you're going to have to make sure it's the one that's welded to the frame. If you replace it with a similar one your vibrations will continue. I'll check and see if I can come up with a part number.

after looking at my rack and pinion ,turning the steering slightly back and forth ,the rack travels 1/4 to 3/8 inch back and forth . the bushings are shot . gonna try and replace the bushings 12.00 each and see if thats it. my buddies silverado has no travel at all so i'll give it a try
